Mt. Calvary is, "A Caring Family Sharing Christ." We are a people called by the grace of God to faith in Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit through the Gospel. That Word of God that gives us new life with Him is at the center of our gathering, worshiping and serving. To learn more about how we strive to fulfill God's plan for us as a congregation, view our ministry statement.
8:00am - Traditional Liturgical
A service celebrating the traditional elements of the Lutheran Liturgy for those with an appreciation of our rich, Christian heritage. In this service, we worship using service settings and hymns from the Lutheran Service Book (LSB) Hymnal. This service is live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube; see the "COVID-19 Information" tab above.
10:30am - Blended Contemporary
A service along less traditional lines that uses more contemporary music and instruments. The same saving truth presented in a style from today.
9:30am - Special Service for those "At-Risk". This is a special service for people who are at a greater risk of complications from COVID-19. This is a more informal service that celebrates the Lord's Supper every week.
7:00pm - Wednesday Worship
These services are held for the weeks before Christmas (Advent) and Easter (Lent).
What To Expect
Open parking - The only reserved spaces in our parking lot are the handicap spaces nearest to the building, and they are not reserved for any individual. The rest of the lot is open to all people. Free valet parking is also available for anybody who may need it before and after services when we are experiencing extreme weather as well.
Warm Greetings - Whether it's by others entering the building at the same time, smiling children handing out Bibles or our greeters, you will be welcomed with warm greetings and smiling faces. We have been praying for you and are happy you are here with us.
Children - Mt. Calvary welcomes and cherishes the opportunity to have children and families in worship with us. Families may sit wherever they feel comfortable. That may mean certain parts of the worship service feature the background noise of shuffling feet and tiny voices, but we celebrate them as models of faith to which our Savior pointed us.
Coffee and Conversations - Immediately following worship, everyone is invited for something to drink and to visit with one another. This is a great time to meet some of our family here at Mt. Calvary.
